songs 2001

For the third year running Ocean Deep remains the favourite song of Cliff fans on the Internet, with perennial favourite Miss You Nights having to settle for second place.
Perhaps due to the fact it's been more than two years since Cliff last released a new album, all top five positions were identical to last year's. The Millennium Prayer continues its strong performance, while Some People and The Best of Me both battle each other for fourth position in a narrow race. Cliff's 1976 hit Devil Woman was the major surprise on the chart, jumping fourteen places to No.6. The Next Time from the movie Summer Holiday also made a surprise entry at No.11, and Can't Keep This Feeling In managed to rise an impressive eight places to No.9.
The songs to take the biggest dive on the chart were Misunderstood Man and Butterfly Kisses, which both fell seven places. Leaving the chart this year was From A Distance, Vita Mia, The Young Ones, Even If It Breaks My Heart, Real As I Wanna Be and Dreamin'. Cliff's first No.1, Living Doll, re-entered the charts tied with another re-entry, All The Time You Need, at No.20.
